Default 97-02 Trans Am/Firebird Formula Automatic Center Console

I'm doing a center conversion on my '96 Trans Am to a 97-02 Trans Am/Firebird Formula center console A4. I found a great deal on eBay with no bids and the entire center console and armrest hasn't been bidden on yet. It comes with everything, my only question is if it will fit? The only difference is that it does not come with the traction control button shaping either, which is good since I don't have that option on my car. Thoughts and opinions please! Bid ends within 17 hours too

Thanks!

I thought all trans ams and firebirds from 93-02 where the same in the inside except for the steering wheels, and the gauge clusters.. ??

They look similar. The 97-02 consoles have an extra swingout cupholder, little storage cup(or traction control switch in the same place) and a lid that swings to the side rather than to the rear.

I changed mine because I hated the rear swinging lid. It was only $35 so why not?

one of the consoles has front screws holes that are differnet fromt the other, i think the ls1 style has the holes also the middle screw base sits a little lower i think on 93-95 cars. I put a 98 console in my 94. It's a little loose but it works.
