I'm thinking about getting a duraflex hood for my firebird but can't choose from the Spyder3 or Mach1. I was hoping people had any opinions or preferably pictures.

I think they're both god awful looking but it's up to you. Not to mention I haven't heard much good for the fitment of their hoods. You get what you pay for when it comes to aftermarket hoods. I would look at VFN fiberglass for hoods personally.

Yeah, not a huge fan of them either, especially the spyder. I would get a ram air hood (i like the WS6 ones). They look great and then you have the option of making it functional later

Does Suncoast still make WS6-style hoods? I have and the quality was top-notch.

I had the Suncoast predator hood but sold it for a genuine GM WS6 hood. The fitment wasn't the worst i've seen but it needed some help. I never was really in love with the way it looked on my car either.
