lt1 pistons
I was wanting to know if these were a good choice for my build?http://www.jegs.com/i/Mahle/644/SBC550030F05/10002/-1

I wouldn't bother buying pistons without buying rods and if buying rods for a 355 they would be 6.0". Makes for a lighter piston which is just a little easier on everything.
The valve relief is the appropriate size, as is the bore size for a 355.
For a forged piston build I just don't see the value in reconditioning stock rods.

Unfortunately it has forged 5.7 rods not the 6.0 rod. But its what I have to work with. Thanks for the info on the piston 96capricemgr. The valve pocket was my main concern because the have another piston set with a little bigger pocket but not much.
