Default Where to get replacement oil pump drive assy?

I went to install my old oil pump drive assembly and noticed that the mounting tab has some cracks, and the gear has some visible wear and will be going in with a new cam. After looking around I can't seem to find a replacement one anywhere, just used units on ebay that seem like a crap shoot. Anybody know where I can get one? I am more concerned about the gear as I can always make a support cap out of metal to overcome the cracking (machine shop connection).

Does this gear wear look bad to you guys or do you think its fine for a new cam?

the cracked top allows the gear to move around. TQ on the hold down bolt is low and if over TQ it cracks the plastic. also old gear the plastic gets brittle so even TQ to spec can crack them.

there was someone who made a machined "cap" for the gear. You can also use a flat washer under head of bolt to spread the load out some over the plastic top

The one in the pics is the original from 1996 and has been through a few cam swaps so not too disappointed, but I will certainly put an extra support under the new one.

not "under" the drive. just a washer between top and hold down bolt if you want to help distribute the clamp load more. You will be fine with a new one just TQ to spec. Look up first as IIRC it was 13 ft lbs but confirm TQ in FSM
