Default 94 vette Opti-spark Replacement

hi jim here I bought a 94 vette. Mid life crisis I guess. My first question is that I have to change the opti spark. To do this I need to take the harmonic balancer pully off. I don't know if the 3 bolts are left or right hand thread. Any info would help. Thanks alot

Righty tighty, lefty loosey!

Get a good optispark, not some parts store POS, or you will be doing this job again soon! I'd replace the water pump too if it's original with high mileage; it's got to come off anyways.

Does it need an opti or a cap and rotor?

As long as you know it's the opti and not the icm coil or fuel related then get a whole opti because in most cases the optical sensor is just a time bomb so you might as well replace it all at once. If your car has low miles and the water pump doesnt leak then just replace the gaskets and put it back on. My oem water pump lasted 150k with two opti changes before it started to leak.
