Default help!! it seems my friend fried my opti lol

story goes like this. I allowed a good friend to used my car for one night trip but he brough it back next day saying he ran out of gas in the middle of the road lol anyways car is trowing code P0301 and that cylinder is not getting spark tru the plug wire. Now the dude is telling me that he took the wire out of the spark plug (cylinder 1) , then put a spare plug in the boot and rubbed it against the chassis to see is there was any spark coming out of it, which obviously did. Am I looking at a possible fried rotor in here?

Step 1- kick dude in the nuts
Step 2- kick him harder
Etc.

Are you sure the plug wire isn't bad and fully seated?

I swapped wires with a new one and same result. it seems like the opti is not sending spark from that boot lol

It's not the opti. It's either the plug or the cap and rotor (which is on the optispark).
