Me too. I wish it had more chop to it. The hotcam sounded better at idle. I figured it would have sounded better with the higher lift and duration. Maybe once I get it datalogged and fine tuned it will change some.

I wanna say 850. Im having idle issues. Once I get a scanner on it I will be able to see the TPS voltage and stuff to see whats going on. I think that's part of my issue right. It has a hard time idling down and staying steady.

Do you have the cam card? What's the LSA? A wider angle could explain the smooth idle.

Where did you get the plug for the air fittings on your old headers? I had to bend and solder mine closed because I couldnt find a fine thread that size.

Also what tool and procedure did you use to pull the crank hub?

Are you going to get it dyno tuned? Or tuning yourself?

It has a 112 LSA. Duration almost the same as the cc503 but with some more lift. I don't want to give away the specs just out of respect for LLoyd. If you want to know just PM me. My hotcam chopped a lot more which I don't get.

I got those fittings a long time ago at a hardware store in the plumbing section. They worked perfect.

I bought a 7/16 threaded rod online, some washers and a bolt and installed it that way.

I have it tuned by Solomon right now. Im gonna have him loan me his tunercats and cable and data log it so he can fix whatever needs to be adjusted. The idle seems to be the only small issue as of now.

Oh so this is a "remote" tune? Why not just go to a speed shop for a dyno tune?

yeah its a mail order. There arent too many places around here that do LT1s anymore without having to drive a few hours away. Everyone is on the LSx bandwagon now. I just dont have the time or money to do that right now.

It really is hard to find any shop that will tune an LT1 car. Absolutely rediculous if you ask me. So it leaves us to learning how to do it ourselves. I got tired of looking for people. So I just bought the FAST Xfi 2.0. Now everybody will tune it.

Well the little LT1 did me proud today. I was driving behind a '13 Camaro SS 1LE today. He went into the passing lane on a back road out here and gunned it, so I downshifted into 2nd at about 35mph and stayed right on his *** until the top of 4th gear where we slowed down. I'm very happy with the way the car ran. It gives me a good indication of what kind of power I'm making. This was with 3.23's as well.

Seems Lloyd gave me exactly what I asked for, if not a tad bit more with this LE1 package. I'm a happy camper right now.

If she runs well which sounds like it does, no need for it to lope. Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of a good lope but I'd rather it perform.

I completely agree. It's just nice to go through parking lots and stuff with it chopping away a little bit. Haha

Little acceleration video. Bare with me, Its hard to drive, hold a camera and shift at the same time. I couldn't drive as hard as I wanted to. It still has 3.23 rear gears as well.
