If anyone else is reading this and thinking about the 295 on a 15x8" wheel since MT says it will fit...this is how much bulge there is for their 295 on an 8" wide rim. Took me forever to find a pic of one on an 8" rim since most use a 10" like you're really supposed to. Yes, it fits the 8"...but bulges like hell.
Part of me still wants to get it since they look badass, but common sense says to stick with the 275 which is already plenty of tire, 2#s lighter per tire, and fits better. Tempted to get the 275 Pros since they supposedly hook MUCH better then the normal Streets, but they are not DOT legal and I'd hate to get caught in the rain with them since they have no rain evacuation grooves at all.

Would like to make a trip to Cecil if I wasn't having transmission issues. Parts won't be here for atleast another week. Going full manual on the 60e with some upgrades I should have done already. Loosening the converter a few hundred rpm to. Shitty timing on this got me a little down.

yea I've been doing a few things to make the car itself faster, I cant bring my self to cut it up to get the weight way down I've had the car since I was 16, I ran well last week in Englishtown, got some rear race brakes and a few things on the way to change for cecil, need to dial the suspension a bit now to keep the nose down the car just pulls 3 foot wheelstands like crazy, I think there's a solid tenth being wasted in the wheelies, I go through the 60' in 2nd gear on the rears right now which looks cool but is no bueno for ET's....I don't want to thread jack so I'll stop there lol
