Are you cramming in that tight *** space down ther, that flows well, were looking at making around 700hp and just curious on what filter is best. Thanks.

Biggest one you can fit. Believe mine is 6.5" base, 10" tall.

Look on the FI section. There are some good threads.
I used a 10" long K&N for years with a 3.5" Brad Brand tube. I noticed it was collapsing. I recently redid my intake to 4 inch and now use a 10" spectre which reportedly flows better then K&N.
There was a recent post of a "hex" brand filter which looked real nice.
Do a search.

Is it frowned upon like in the diesel community to use a K&N? The diesel guys say a K&N let's too many little particles in that can damage the wheel, but I guess diesels are exposed to more dirt and dusty roads.

K&N are oiled and will screw with MAF readings cause the oil gets sucked in through the pleats. Any high flow aftermarket filter sacrifices filtration for higher flow, its the game we play.

On my car you can see the red K&N oil all down the pipe leading to compressor, switching to a dry AEM/S&B when I can.
