another blown ysi ltx and it's right up the freeway from me (I'm in Lake Forest). Those are awesome results. i'm jealous. I'm barely getting mine drivable right now.
When you say 2.6 ratio, do you mean a 2.60" drive pulley? I think I saw somewhere that you have a 7.80" crank pulley. What rpm did you run it up to?

Don't go smaller than 3.0" dia on the blower side, rather go larger on the crank side...to minimize belt slip.

Nice build! Note cheap or easy to put that together!
Did you have any problems getting your QuickTime bell housing to fit? The shop that tried to install mine swears it doesn't fit but I've confirmed with QuickTime that its the correct part and nothing wrong with it...

My set up had 7.8" (p/n:4MA018-061) dia crank pulley with a 3.12" (2A031-312) dia blower pulley=2.5 ratio (I rounded numbers: 7.8/3.0=2.6 vs 7.8/3.12=2.5) I only ran my set up to about 6,500rpm, next time I'll go 8.5" crank pulley dia and push it to 7000rpm.
Don't go smaller than 3.0" dia on the blower side, rather go larger on the crank side...to minimize belt slip.

I'm not sure if the f body has the tensioner placed in the same spot as the y body, but it looks like it might get close. I'm guessing you'd only have to reduce the overall diameter of the pulley on the tensioner by a little but curious what you were thinking.
On y bodies, we have a frame rail under the crank pulley, so going as big as an 8 or 8.5" would require a little work in the form of notching the frame.
Unfortunately, I'm stuck with 8 rib also which really sucks. I'm drooling over your setup with 10 ribs and a big crank pulley relative to mine! Hopefully I'll bump into you at cars and coffee or otherwise. I'd love to check out this car!

I am not familiar with the C4 engine compartment layout. Most of the Y bodies I've seen are mounted on top (passenger side). I don't know if you looked into A&A system to see if they have a top mount belt tensioning system for your C4 application (you probably did) . They seem to have a nice Y body tensioner design. Perhaps that is one for LS series only..
Botton-line, if you can make sure you have enough belt wrap (contact surface) and/or enough tension combo to minimize belt slip (especially with Vortech blower step up ratio of 3.5 vs ATI of 5.4) you could be fine. I see Y body blower mount (reverse mount) use 8 rib and 10 rib set up online...I have seen people with belt tensioner wrap that almost touches the belt and make it work...Hats off to them (not just GM cars, boats, but other set ups on Fox bodied Ford in Renegade series races, Yikes did I slip in Ford stuff on this forum!).
I don't think a small tensioner diameter is necessarily a bad thing, but try to get the tensioner to roll under the blower pulley to provide max belt wrap...I went with manual tensioner to go for max tension vs spring tensioner.
