Default help!!!!

im sick and tired of my car it only starts when it wants to. it was running fine then last week it didnt want to start. then is started then it turned of while i was driving it. i have replace the icm but still my car only starts when it wants to, when it does start it runs perfect no misses or anything, and to top it off today the coil shocked the f*** out of my while i was trying to make it start. oh yeah i already check when the car doesnt want to start the coil does not spark.

stock coil or aftermarket? stock should ohm out to 6500 ohms using a multitester, red on coil output and black to each of the 4 receptacles. If it's like an MSD Blaster coil it should read around 5300 ohms if it's good. Also sounds like a grounding issue. Check your grounds are tight right there at the coil next to the ICM.

the coil im using is a mallory i have double checked all the grounds but i will go back and check them again right now.

gounds are tight but now the car wont start at all wtf is going on.

i just had that same problem. turns out it was the ignition switch in the steering column. wont cost u much its a $20 part, but you have to open up the whole colum to fit it. could be the same issue you have.

just replaced the ignition switch car started wouldnt idle right, anyways started a total of three times and now im back to where i started car wont start. two coils later four ignition control modules and one ignition switch. im really close to putting a rag in the gas tank and lighting that b**** on fire and letting it burn.
