well i'll be the first to say it LS2!!!!
that would be great, but putting an lt1 into it would be great too. never done a motor swap myself, but i hear the only way to do it is to have a donor car very handy.

I dont know much about the existing motor mounts on the truck, but try contacting TCI, (total cost involved) they should have what You need to make the installation a breeze. Check out thier web site, they make a lot of bolt on kits for all kinds of cars, and thier stuff is really good quality.

What are you planning to do with the Fuel system?
I have a '72 C10 LWB 350/350 with 105k original miles on it and the motor is tired and I was thinking of putting an LT1 in it so I could get fuel injection (ie better fuel economy) and I want to tow my 97Z with it.
But initially the thought was I could build the 350 cheaper than switching to an FI motor but I still like that idea.....and I guess my hang up is I dont want to cut the truck up at all and dont want to move the gas tank (behind the seat). So getting fuel is my current hang up...
