I'm currently running the gm846 cam. 222/230, .543/.56?. I came extremely close to passing the sniffer test with this cam (failed HC by .01). Turns out I had a bad cat-converter.

What size cams have you guys been able to get through the sniffer test?

I passed a 236/248 114 .555/.600 comp cam in my old 383 in my 93 camaro (harris county texas dyno emmissions) w/ LT headers and dual carsound 3" cats.

Just wondering, but did you use any denatured alchohol to pass, or was that because of tuning alone?

Nope... no alky. I was running accel gen 6 dfi (no wide band), tuned by me and a buddy. Nothing that couldnt be duplicated with the stock computer.
