is high mileage a problem?
Is high mileage a problem for stock lt1's? My lt1 has 146,000. Does the mileage make them loose any power? Shoule i invest in motor mods or just buy a low mileage motor to mod on?

With it being a cast iron block they do infact last a long time. As for modding if you plan on doing basic boltons such as exhuast and intake you should be ok. It won't be as strong as when it came out of the factory but like i said the cast iron block is made to take some punishment. But If you plan on heavily modding I would get a new LT1 motor or rebuild yours.
