fuel rail schrader valve
well, i just got done doing the infamous LT1 intake manifold gasket replacement...slapped on a nice damn coat of RTV on the back side...all completed...just assemebled everything and popped my car into accessory to pressurize my fuel rail with fuel....to only have my fuel spray out of the schrader valve on the fuel rail!
Has anyone have these leak before? do I need a new rail or is there a specific valve core part # i can get to replace it myself?
Thanks guys!

one of my buddies said that putting a guage on it would work fine, as it would plug the hole for a guage...
would:

do the trick?

Are those intended for permanent mounting? I think the threads on that is either -3AN or -4AN and you can get "cap" fittings for those. I'm pretty sure it's one of those sizes because I doubt my stainless steel braided hose has NPT or metric threads. I haven't had it off in a long time so I can't remember 100%.

true, the fact of having that entire tube filled with fuel would be pretty retarded...
though would http://performance.speedycarparts.co...7&brandid=1063 work instead?
