Roller rockers
Ok I know about how 1.6 ratio roller rockers really arent worth putting on your car at full price, but a friend of a friend is selling some 1.6 rockers, they are CHEAP. Should I buy them?? Has anybody had problems with these? I heard that they put the stock spring really close to the binding point, is that true? Thanks waiting for some ingenious input from you guys.

Yea I know that they reduce friction, which reduced parasitic loss of horsepower, but on other boards and stuff I heard they can cause spring bind.
If thats not true, then heck yes.

i think they can cause spring bind for the stock springs, when you are using 1.6 instead of 1.5 it will push the spring down further, this isnt what the stock spring was meant for. not to be pushed that far down. with its design the force wont be distrubited evenly through the spring and one part might get caught up in another causing it to bind and be useless at that point. im sure you can run them but it is highly recommended you get an aftermarket set to be safe.
