Default Well, it's almost done...

After 30 months, countless hours and dollars, the SB2 project is almost done. Just a little more work at the body shop, put the interior back and go over everything one more time and it will be ready for the track.

It does run under it's own power now and it's more brutal than I could have imagined. Here are some updated shots:

This is a lesson to be learned here, if you see a car that looks normal, and has 345's on the back, there probably is some big ****** motor under the hood....

if it wasnt for the under hood shot... mainly the direct port nitrous, it would look like you were setting up a road race car...
at least the wheels and tire make it look that way.

looks awsome.

Thanks everyone. Funny thing is it will see some road course action. Then it's off to the strip where we change the wheels/tires, front brakes and sway bars and stick the chute on it.

As far as dyno numbers, it makes a little under 1100 at the crank on the jug Motor makes mid 700's.

I have the power to go 8's with what it weighs now but I doubt I can shift that fast and it will have true 10.5's on it so it should be a mid 9 second skatefest.

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words.
