Default Easy questions real quick

What should the average operating temp of a 383 be with a 160 thermostat, electric water pump, and fans set lower? I know it will differ from climate to climate. I just want a general idea.

What should the IAC read when at idle with your foot on the brake?

Hey what's up KGRESOCK. Temps here average 100F easy. My temps sit around 195-200F and sometimes in the 220 range at the light.

My IAC according to the scanmaster is 160. How do I bring it down? Thanks bro

Iv'e been tweaking the Throttle blades open. Its been improving my
idle and bringing the IAC counts down.
I'm running 25% coolant 75% water plus water wetter.
My running temps have actually gone up a few degrees with this mix.
Dumb question you have bled your cooling system?

So the more I open the blade with the screw the lower the iac count will go down (reffering to the iac reading shown on Scanmaster)? I havent bled it in a while. Ill open the vent screw tommorow and give it a shot.

Hmmm. I dunno. I'm hoping the fan switch will help. I'm all out of things to check. I have all the cooling system mods and the fans as far as I know work fine. My iat is usually in the high 130F range also.
