Default Map sensor forgot what that is?

My ses light is on and the map sensor is out and i forgot what it is and what it is for. Thanks

it's the black little box thing on the passenger side of the intake towards the TB. it has a green 3 wire connector. Two screws hold it in the manifold

It's your Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor... It measures pressure inside the intake usually in kPa and converts it for your PCM to use to measure air volume I believe for use in it's fueling algorithms.... More MAP voltage equals higher engine load.... 1 bar MAP sensors for NA engines and 2 bar or 3 bar for boosted motors since boost pressure goes higher than a standard 1 bar map sensor will read....

If it was out your motor wouldn't be able to accurately measure air volume and engine load and wouldn't do a great job in fueling accurately...
