my oil pressure is pass 80 i don't know y could it be a wire cutout or can it be really past 80 i can still drive it fine no power loss or anything it just kind of annoying that it is pass that what could happen to my car if it really is pass 80

did you change your oil pump recently?

I have amelling High Volume pump and it goes past 80 also

My Melling Racing High volume pump (3/4" pickup) was getting me to 70psi at idle on the thinner break-in oil. With 20W50 Im seeing above 80 as well.

Its on the lower side of the block by the Oil Filter. Or its up behind the intake manifold. The sendor is like 4inches long you cant miss it. I bet thats your problem, mine went out and my pressure was that high.
