Opti Distributor
My opti went out. So I assumed it was just the rotor that snapped and bought a rebuild kit. After digging it out, I found that the actual distributor whel had bent. So does anyone know where I can find the distributor half of the opti?

Which part are you talking about? The cap and rotor? Or the other half? I just rebuilt my opti with MSD's cap and rotor kit and everything is perfect... if your saying the disk with the 360 slots in it is bent, then you can either try to flatten it out and put it back in, or you can just buy a new opti

Ya the actual wheel with all the little holes. And I don't think I trust myself enough to try to straighten it. Anyone know if anybody sells that half of the opti?

The problem is that I already have a cap and rotor, I just need the other half. And the only ones I can find on Ebay are the cap and rotor or the whole thing.

your talkin about the optical sensor itself...its uses the little dashes in that piece of metal to know when ot spark...i believe there is 360 of them on there...no you cant straighten it...go to o'gailleys and get a distributor for your car(not cap and rotor) the distributor
