Wtf No Brakes
i put a 230/236 565/565 112 LSA cam in and ever since then i havent had any brakes. The pedal goes to the floor durring hard braking and wont even hold the car back to do a brake touqe. I have replaced the master cylinder and bleed the brakes nothing. is this a tuning issue cause i have LT1 Edit and tune the car myself. It also pulls 10 inches of vacum is that enough to help assist power brakes, i thought if it wasnt then the pedal would be hard?
please help.....
please help.....

sounds like you got air in either the abs block or the metering valve witch i believe is in the abs block. They are a Mother f er to bleed. My dads truck did the same thing, we ended up taking it to a shop to have them bleed it with a vacume bleeder like a mighty vac. Did you bench bleed the master becuase that can have alot to do with it also. If you didnt then you need to do it, and definitly bleed the brakes with a vacume bleeder. And your right with the pedal being hard, booster dosn't have anything to do with your problem also dose it make a funny sound when you press the brake pedal? Like fluid with air in it being pressed through a small hole?

it takes some time for sure. Every time I've done with it success I've referenced the method in the Chiltons... more time consuming than old style brakes and a little different. just check your method and keep at it.
