Which should i do
I have a 97 ram air ta. I am going to be getting 4,000 dollars to spend on it within a week. I was looking at getting a supercharger for it, but now i am think of getting a cam, tune, exhaust, headers, and a nitrous kit. which should i do, and with the upgrades for my second option should i use a wet or dry nitrous kit.

if your choices are between a completely stock car and a supercharger, or all bolt ons, heads, and cam. i'd do the bolts ons and cam. its going to make more power and not be as hard on the motor.
without doing the supporting mods with the supercharger your just going to choke it... plus build up extra heat.

I wouldnt go s/c on a f-bod first. I did with my stang because n/a 4.6 2v's are a joke but 5.7l's are awesome and can make great power with simple stuff. Besides, if you go boost and blow it up youll be pissed. A good H/C/supporting mods setup is what I would get. Or just sell the car, combine the money and get a 98 Z28.

i was thinking of the bolt ons, and blkchevyz made the point i was thinking of, less damage to the engine. I am not real smart on cams, which size should i go with, i am looking at getting power (odviously) but i dont want to have to spend a lot more money doing a lot of supporting mods to make it.

Forget a cam and tune, get a set of ported heads and a matching cam along with the normal boltons (ie. headers, exhaust, intake, etc.). Then have the new setup tuned and you'll be making some nice power. There are some great sponsors who do nice porting work on the stock heads.

If you dont have to pass the sniffer then thats a great way to make tremendous power. His cam grinder Bret can even grind you a custom cam that might be more streetable if you need it to be.Also it wont really break the bank just be sure to get the bolt on mods that they suggest and that bitch will scream, throw a jug on her and Itll run 10's no problem and still be streetable-kinda.
