I don't know much about the lt1 cars, but it looks like it would at least be better than stock.

As already mentioned, any cold air intake kit will be a great deal better over the stock set-up. What are you'e plans for that LT1 of your's?

IMO there are better out there. That isn't truely a coldair intake. K&N, SLP, Moroso (which I have), and others put the filter inside down into the fender to keep hot engine bay air from going in. It will be better than stock but will still take a lot of hot air. And the metal pipes are going to give some heat soak, so IMO the plastic K&N and Moroso are better.

I like LPE since it's cheaper than K&N and Moroso.

it would be OK IF the filter did not fall apart and it actually sucked COLD air and not the stuff out of the Engine bay.

I have a few customers with them and they are all looking to get a Moroso

Yep, still pulls hot engine bay air in...Look at LPE or Moroso for price and fitment...

so far ive got pacesetters and a borla sitting in my living room that need to be installed, i might tackle that this weekend, after i get a warranty check back i am planning on putting in a thunder racing cam, im "hoping" to hit near 400 with that. Thats all i have planned for now, probably keep it that way til the engine craps out. But i am trying to figure out what intake i want to put on it, i am doing the front end conversion, i am just waitin on the fenders and bumper, i have everything else, so i might put an FIPK on it, or maybe an SLP lid.
