355 Le2
I have a '97 WS6 6M w/ 28,000 miles and I have these
modifications sitting at home waiting to go in
355 block
Forged rotating assembly
LE2 heads & cam
CC 1.6 rockers & pushrods
GM heavy duty timing chain
ATI damper
MSD distributor, coil, plugs
BBK 58mm T/B
Pacesetter long tubes & ORY
Magnaflow catback
CSR electric water pump
small things like 160' thermostat & LT4 knock module
My question is with these listed would 32# injectors be sufficent?
And will I need a pump or pressure regulator?
Oh, and I know its a redundant question but any guesses on Hp/Tq #'s ?
Thanks for the help guys

you can probably get buy with 32# injectors if you raise your fuel pressure... but if you havent bought them yet get some 36# or bigger.
no idea on the hp or torque numbers... what compression are you going for

Lloyd told me that with my stock crank running eagle rods and 11.2:1 CR pistons and the LE2 with 1.6RRs and LTs with a good exhaust on the 355 you could expect between 425-465 RWHP.
You need bigger injectors though. Starving your setup of fuel is not going to maximize your performance.

Get the Racetronix harness and pump, basically all the other dropin pumps will be a similar Walbro pump under various names but Racetronix goes the extra mile and makes a kit that fits with far greater ease, the wiring it great as well and a real bargain for the quality and materials.
The injectors will be OK IF they are 32lbs at the pressure you run, I am running 32lbs LS1 injectors BUT I know they are only 28lbs at stock LT1 pressure, tuning is still a bit rich but at this time I am maxxing them out at 99.X% and ideally you should keep them below 85% duty cycle so I need to do something.
If they are 32lbs at the stock pressure you will be OK. Regulators can be a useful tool in knowledgable hands, BUT if you have to ask if you need one I would suggest you stay away from them. They should be used as a part of the fuel system not so much as a tuning tool as most seem to want to do.

i agree 96. Adjustable FPRs come in REAL handy to keep fuel flow at the precise pressure for the load you'll put on injectors. The injectors IMO should be changed out just for the fact that the build won't stop at the parts listed, once he feels what the 355 did he will want MORE!!!
