Fuel pressure - Help here plz
Im trying to find out if my fuel pump is the cause to my problems.
I lose power at WOT
when i spray the 150 wet kit it feels as if it has none to little effect. This has been getting worse and worse for a few weeks.
I tested the fuel pressure with a guage. At idle initially it was 39 then with the vacumm line off the pressure regulator it was 45(to simulate WOT).
I let it run a bit because my problem with power seems to come a minute into the ride.
2 minutes passed and the fuel pressure at idle was 36-37. Then at simulated WOT it was 44.
I then tested fuel pressure during cruise rpms at 3k rpms it was 34-35 psi
Sounds like a fuel pump going bad but i know nothing about this so im asking anyone thats been through this or has some expertise to clue me in here.

when you did the test cruise.. what the vacuum line on or off?
the pump seems to be fine.. those numbers are normal... according to TPIS 39psi is optimal for the LT1... though most people leave it stock and retune...
what about when you turn the key off, does the pressure drop?? and how fast does it drop???
how old is the fuel filter.. you can have pressure with a clogged filter... but volume is what you need...
