Custom Grind lift for stock heads?
My stock 97 561 castings make peak flow at .450 lift (224cfm) and the low goes down 3-4 cfm for every .50 increase in lift. They are still flowing better than the older castings but with the older castings an increase in lift is accompanied by an increase in flow.
So, for optimum tq/hp should I set my lift to .450-.460? I guess I could use my stock rockers and springs lol my valvetrain is young but that is not my intent.

im no cam expert by any means, but i think you want to have your cam lift a little higher then your peak flow numbers. that way its hitting the peak when its opening and when its closing.
