Default Help me find the right gaskets.

alright, im going to be doing h/c soon and i need to know what gaskets i need. i know i head head gaskets and prolly an intake gasket..but anything else? i already have fel-pro header gaskets so i dont need those..if it makes a difference. lol

looking for a good brand, something that will hold well w/ the lt4 cam and some very mild heads.

im getting the trick flow 7.2 rods off summit so if u can shoot me a link for the correct gaskets i need off summit that would be great. unless u find them on ebay or somewhere else significantly cheaper. i looked for a while and cant seem to find what the hell i need

Gaskets: Head, Headers, Intake(comes with Fuel Injector O-rings), Throttle Body(optional), Timing Cover Gasket Kit. I bought some of these and the Kit at Autozone when I did my Cam. The Kit had everything for the front of the Engine.

I have seen a few people say that. I am getting the Felpro 1074's, they are .039.

the impala's are .028(i think) and the piston is about .005 in the hole so you'r quench would be .033.thats right where you whant it. if you use a .039 gasket you'r quench will be .044 not very good

The stock one is .050, and that is still 10.5:1 compression. I have heard alot of good things about the 1074's, and they were reccommended to me..

Felpro 1406 header gaskets, the Impala SS head gasket (+.5 compression) and GM intake manifold gaskets.
