Default LT4 cam/head combo advice.

Want to slap a head/cam package on the Vette, what would most of you recommend for a mild package that will pass CA emissions.

Also going to put 4.10's in the rear. TIA

everybody on this site is kind of biased towards lloyd elliot for some reason, not doubting his work, he does good work, but almost every post that asks whether to go LT4 or not, someone always chimes in about how the LT4 is the most overrated package for the LT1's available. Quite honestly, I was very pleased with the #'s my LT4 setup rang up, I got 402HP with full boltons and the LT4 kit. Also, the LT4 hotcam should be pretty good with emissions as well. Regardless of what you choose, be sure to post up some pics when you're done!

It's a nice tame kit, but expensive. The LT4 heads are great heads to start with if you want to port them, but there is a lot of volume/cross sectional area there and they can turn out on the large size for a 350 motor. One of the reasons guys on here recomend someone like Lloyd to port stock LT1 castings for you.

I'm sure the Intake is out of production right now.
