Default Removing cat

I would like to remove the cat from my exhaust on my 95 Im am just wondering if it will throw any codes or pop the SES light on I alreay have my A.I.R disabled if that matters.

Nope. It'll sound pretty mean too I plan on doing it soon and just keeping my cat for emmission testing .

i have a 95 too...its nice not having rear o2 sensors. i just ordered an ORP actaully. gonna have flanges put on my cat. that way i can just bolt up the cat when i get the thing smogged. look into getting a mail order tune though...madz28.com or pcmforless.com are good but, im sure you already knew that. have fun settin off alarms.

def. tear it off.... i just took mine off after i installed a set of MAC headers. so now i am running MAC's into a 3 inch pipe into a hooker muffler and my car is louder and smoother sounding than my buddys car with a loud mouth on it.... u will love the sounds w/o a cat.
