OIl leak fixed, now back fire
WEll I took the car apart for the FIFTH time and think I finally have the oil leak fixed on the front cover. <applause...>
Unfortunately I have a major backfiring problem now. I verified the driver side wires and looked at the passenger as best I could, do you think maybe I have 2 wires crossed?
And speaking of the wires, so far I have been able to change 4 of 8 wires in this car. What's the trick to getting the passenger side done as well as #7 on the drivers side? I have BBK headers mucking the place up and it's tight behind them, and I am afraid of letting one lay on the header and melt... Thus far I have successfully changed 1,3,5, and 4.
Any suggestions/war stories would be helpful. By the way, it is throwing a code, and I am in the process of getting Autotap to read it but they're out of stock on the USB units right now....
Thanks again.
