Default Exhuast Question??

Is anyone on here running straight pipes out the back. I just noticed today that my old flowcrap has a crack in one of the outlet pipes. I figured i might just make a nice straight pipe setup out the back untill i can get a new exhaust. Is anyone running straight pipes are they way to loud or ok for regular driving.

get rid of it... find a good catback.... the only flowmaster i have seen worth a damn is the race version on the mufflex 4inch systems... those are the only ones i have seen with good power..

running the pipe without a muffler is def loud but ive noticed as long as your not dumping under the car or on the drivers side its ok. you just have to turn the radio up a bit more and avoid long road trips.

I loved the sound of my no muffler system, with resinators on my cadillac. not overly loud to me.

DYNOMAX BULLETS are a LT1's best friend. Just spend 30 bucks and get a bullet.

yep, thats pretty much what my car had, 2 bullet style(stock resinators) mufflers at the end of the tail pipes.
