Default DCR to shoot for

I'm looking to upgrade to a bigger cam. Probably a custom cam, similar to the LE cams in rpm range. Aggressive lobes, replacing most of valvetrain, etc.. What's a good DCR to shoot for? Not a DD, mods in sig. I dyno at 375 rwhp now, would like to see at least 400. Thanks!

91 octane pump fuel? I'd shoot for 8.5-8.9 range.

Only go higher than 8.5 if you can get your block zero decked and new pistons. You need to get quench down for more than that. You don't have much choice if you're not changing the heads or the bottom end. I don't think you have to worry about DCR much until you do heads or new bottom end since your SCR won't change.
