ported polished Lt1, what kind of power should i gain i was thinking of getting my heads ported and polished, my intake manifold ported to 56 mm, and my tb ported to 56, what kind of hp should i pick up

There are many variables when you get your heads ported and polished, do you have any flow numbers or anything to go by? Someone may be able to better help you with that info.

You could go with some hack that will end up making it lose power or you could gain a lot BUT you are missing a key part. You failed to mention a cam which is REQUIRED. The heads are decent as cast and the cam the first cork in the engine, ported heads on a stock cam is a good way to waste money and be disappointed.
