Comp shorties. Will they clear tr6's or are header plugs needed?

Comp shorties. Will they clear tr6's or are header plugs needed? Trying to keep my tr6's for the nos. Upgrading to headers finally and found some used one's I can afford, but they are shorties. Will they clear cause accel header plugs have given me problems in the past.
