Valve spring question
will this spring with the required retainers: http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/perform...CATID=734.html
work on my 97 LT1 z28? will it fit the stock heads with out any machining or other issues? Will it work with SA roller rockers and hardware from the hotcam kit. Will it work ok with a CC503 cam 224/230 .503/.510 112 LSA?

cant say if it will or not. But look for comp cams beehive springs. There 918 springs. They are the same as ls1 springs. Theres a lot of them for sale on here. Get thoes with the retainers/locks, both are average about $150 for springs/locks/retainers. No machine work needed and there one of the best to use. There good up to a 600 lift.

i have heard lots of good thing about them. are the springs retainers and locks interchengeable between the lt1 and ls1 heads, or just the springs? also will they work with the SA roller rockers from the hotcam kit? Thanks.

The retainers and locks for the beehive spring are not interchangeable with the LS1 hardware as the LS1 valve have 8 mm tips and ours are 11/32".
I've heard that the guids on the SA rockers will hit the beehive retainer.
