Thanks. It sounds like you have a pretty stout setup yourself. How well does it run? I believe the green lt1 ran high 13s.

Are the only mods you got the ones listed in your sig?

All the mods are listed...as far as what I can think of right now. Only weight reduction being prostars and skinnies and the front swaybar was removed.I think the weight reduction was offset by the addition of the 12 bolt and subframe connectors. The car still has full interior and ac.

Nice times! Who ported the heads for you? Rear end and heads are next on my list, rear being first of the two. Hopefully I'll break into the 11's with my cc503 and heads.

The heads were done by ARE in canada. They were a pretty big name a few years back but I haven't heard much about them recently. I'm about to start over from scratch and will either look to LE or AI for my next package. Hopefully it'll be sitting on either a 383 or 396. I'm looking to run 11.4s N/A with my next setup while retaining all my current creature comforts

From what I've heard, you shouldn't have a problem running 11s with that cam. Good luck.

I'm impressed. Are you running a 12 bolt or a 9 inch to support those hard launches? Suspension? What did you do for a tune?

I'm running a 12 bolt. The suspension is pretty much stock with the exception of relocation brackets and tubular lca's. It still has stock shocks and springs. The base tune was done by Ed Wright and it was pretty much spot on when I checked it on the dyno.

It's the GM846 cam which is pretty small by today's standards. I believe the #s are 222/230 .543/.564 on a 112. The heads "supposedly" flow 270/197 @ 600.

I still haven't done long tubes or the electric water pump yet so I may still have a tenth or 2 under my belt. Maybe even some weight reduction can get me into the 11.4s with this very streetable package. I'm still getting 20 mpg on the highway.

Nice. I went to Capitol Raceway for my track time too. Is this an old video? Way to cold out to be at the track around this time.

Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately, the motor is starting to smoke a bit from the valvecover breather so I'm looking into doing some kind of a forged setup along with a better set of heads and cam. I've had a procharger p600b sitting in my closet for the past few years and am considering doing something with that. If not, maybe I'll sell it and use the money for a nice nitrous setup

Let me know when you want to sell the heads and cam.
