help!!! main cap positions

Exclamation help!!! main cap positions

my machine shop forgot to mark the main caps befor ethey took them off, they have arrows and numbers which i know the arrows goto the front but do any of oyu know which number on the cap goes in which postion? here are the numbers on the top of the caps
20, 43, 63, 83,

Darn, if I only remember this part of my rebuild. I honestly don't know, but I would call them just to make sure...althought I'm pretty sure they done more rebuilds than any of us.

Look closely at them, I had to match mine up. Look at the machine pattern, and you will see where they match the block.

Default Caps

This is a critical area, If you are not Absolutely sure of their sequence then you might have to let a machine shop install them then do a align hone of the caps. Its better to pay that little extra now or you will wish you did..

Mine are numbered on the caps from the factory....2,3 and 4 are numbered on mine. Look really close and you should be able to see the 2,3 and 4.

i have one out of the car that i marked before sending them to the machine shop..i did mine with a punch before i sent it to have it bored and honed ..im working tomorrow but i will see if i can take a look at them before i go to work tomorrow night...
