MAP sensor voltage low (vacuum high)
Well search is down again. The guy that painted my new hood commented that the car wasn't running too hot so I took my laptop to his shop and got DTC 34, vacuum too high. At the time, I couldn't place the problem as it only read "MAP low." It was raining anyway so I left. I looked the code up so now I am scratching my head, "How can vacuum be too high?" Anyone have any experience? I'm taking a spare sensor tomorrow and checking over my vacuum lines.

C'mon someone knows more about this. I replaced the sensor with a spare I had and it smoothed out A LOT. However, I still have code 34 but I might just have to reset the PCM. Anyone??

I have not been able to drive the car for various reasons but when I was checking for the code after replacing the MAP sensor, MAP was showing 10 kpa at idle and reving it to various rpms without it changing. Once I figure out how to get into OD, I may be able to do some driving.
