Why does my heat smell like gas... when i turn my heat on it blows fairly warm air, granted i dont use it much but when i do it always smells like gas. so i have to turn it off, or die. what the hell.

Mine smelled like engine coolant for a few days before it busted and soaked my passenger side floor board. i can't imagine how yours could be picking up gas fumes.

raw gas or burnt gas. either way i would check the evap lines and solenoids to make sure it's not clogged. and check your fuel pressure regulator there known for going bad.

just smells like raw gas i guess, im not sure though, i suppose it could smell a bit like burnt gas. i never leave it on long enough to tell maybe ill leave the doors open on day for a bit and just run the heat full blast for a while maybe that will clean it out or something. i know prior to me buying it when it was for sale it did sit kinda alot.
