Default LE2 Dyno Results.....

So decided to take my car over to mid west hybrid and get it dyno'd on their Mustang Dyno ( ) So here's the results from the best run of 3.

Max Power: 363.1 @6258 rpm
Max Torque: 335.1 @4632 rpm

I'm not totally dissapointed considering it hasn't been dyno tuned, has a poor mail in tune, small exhaust leak, rockers too tight (half past zero), vaccum leak, and a mustang dyno! I think once I get those where they need to be the power should be higher.

once you tune it you will get more out of it, just fix your problems, fine tune it, and keep your head up

I agree, get your tunning done. That aint bad at all. Got any tricks for that lash on those rockers. I hate having to deal with that. Ask ten people and you will get 10 different answers.

I agree with the above, once you get those issues taken care off you should be at or near 400rw.

Yeah I sure hope so, it's discouraging thinking about it! Isn't that the most pathetic torque # you've ever seen with this set up. I saw someone post on another forum, same cam 417 rwhp, 400+ torque! That would be sweet.

you've got a great base-line. Get your tune in and your rockers adjusted and you're bound to get up near 400 at least.

Don't worry about the numbers...As long as your a/f and timing are good run it at the track and see what the mph is...The graphs look nice to me...tabletop flat torque and nice hp curve with lots of area under both curves...Sounds like this Mustang dyno is set up correctly, too...No over exaggerated numbers...Mustang dynos can easily be manipulated by altering the weight of the rollers by a key stroke which can inflate dyno numbers tremendously...Better to dyno low and trap high than the other way around...which is very common to see around here...

Also your #'s on a Mustang Dyno will be lower than a Dynojet. what kind of dyno were the other people using???? those are sill good #'s for a mail tune

Off to the track we go!!

Would an exhaust leak after the headers be a cause of losing power?
Didn't do the a/f ratio #'s. Going to try to do a dyno tune next month.

I would not go to the track if you don't have the A/F #'s yet to be on the sake side. your car could have lean spikes or be to rich, but thats me
