anyone ever put a roots blower on an LT1?

Roots and Wipple (Whipple?) are the same aren't they? Both top mount intake replacements (basically). Whats the bracket mounted one called, I'm having a brain fart.

Currently there is not one in production that I know of. But a member on this board (NXSLT1) has been working on one for a while that will fit without any cutting of the cowl I'm pretty sure.

There was a guy in NJ who built a few intakes to use Lighting blowers in the b-bodies. Fit under the stock b-body hood. Guy is a better fabricator than buisiness man and tends to always be WAY WAY behind on production like I think some guys have waited well over a year for TT kits for b-bodies. That is the closest I am aware of to a roots blower kit for an LT1.
I believe you are right that Alvin of pcmforless built a setup too but that was one off, this other one I know several were built and it was offered as a kit.
