My buddy has a 95 camaro with 3.73, 58 mm throttle body, shorty headers, and intake. He is wanting to purchase a stall converter but does not know whitch one to go with and how big. He is also wanting to spray it. Thanks in advance.

I went with a Performabuilt 9.5" 3000 stall for my bolt on Lt1. So far, I'm very pleased with it. I will have my 3.73 gears and drag radials on my this weekend, so I can see what it will really do.

Don't want something too high for a stock internal car. Something like a 2800-3400 range. I think a lot of LS1 guys go with a 3600 but I think that's too much on a bolt on car.

I'd recommend 3000-3600 myself. I've got one in my 4000lb car that stalls to around 3400 on launches, and wish I would have gone with a little more. I guess it all depends on what you like for driveability.. My gf can drive the car with no compliants.
