Default pushrod/lifter questions for 847 cam

First off i got everything installed and running with my 847 cam. BUT i have a tick/taping noise comming from the right side. I put in everyting new but didnt replace the 100k lifters. When i was setting to 0 lash i noticed some "lazy lifters". I could preload 4 of them a good amount with just my fingers and the rest were real tight. So i bought ls7 lifters to replace them so i know there good. But im thinking about relpacing my pushrods too. I bought them used and they were the comp cams stock replacement ones. So better then stockers but not the best. So i was gonna buy the Comp. cams magnum ones for a peace of mind too knowing there good. But who sells shorter ones? All i see from jegs/summit is the stock 7.200 length.

Get the trickflow chromoly ones instead, they are the same exact pushrods made by the same place as the comp hi-techs but they are $85 instead of $140+.

sweet, Thanks for the heads up. Now my rocker tips are closer to the outside edge of the valve tip (exhaust side) so that means i need shorter ones correct? I know i should measure it but i cant get a checker tool but how much does lenght effect where its at. Should i just get 7.15's or 7.1's.

There's no way to know without measuring. I'm running 7.15's on mine, but i'm also running thinner gaskets and milled heads. I think my valves are longer than stock too though.
