Default Headers and tubular K-member

Any header problems with a tubular K-member. Which ones. Im kinda looking at the Kooks headers.I dont have the tubular K-member yet either looking for the best with out fit problems. not doing the A ARMS keeeping the stock ones.Car is street driven to the track and Drag raced. And any other imput on Headers fit and such. Going long tubes 1/7/8 or 1/3/4.My reason on the Kooks is the stainless and im keeping the car for a long time to come.
Sorry if i stuck this in the wrong fourm. Yes i did a search.

I have a set of KooK's 1-7/8" stepped headers on my Trans Am, and just recently purchased a K-member from UMI. When I spoke with the guy from UMI, he assured me that I would have all the room in the world running KooK's Headers.

So, there ya go.... UMI works, and get the Road Race K-member.

Aftermarket K members give you more clearance for headers than the factory K Member, which is one of the reasons why people switch to them.
http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...tCar.php?car=7 Check out our '95 Formula, which has a BMR K Member and Hooker headers. Bob

Yep

You should have no issues. And you will be very happy with the Kooks set-up. The only headers that get tricky our the shorty headers, but we still have not found a shorty header that will not clear.

Hope that helps!

KOOKS long tube 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 fit just perfect with my BMR K-member, no clearance issues whatsoever.
