Sorry about the cell phone picture quality.
I've actually had the engine for about 3 months now.
Some of you may even recognize who's engine that is that is sitting there, if you notice a few of the details........
Picked up this Cromoly 6 pt. bar for only $250. Some LS1 car had a unlucky day and was parted out, I got lucky though I guess.
Ah now this showed up last week.
As you can see from the pictures, well I def. can't do the engine swap in the garage. I'm also hurting in the wallet now, so it will be a long time til all of this is in the car. I've got a lot of things to acquire before its all ready in any case, but big plans for down the road.

FYI: The reverse flow cooling was a new thing they did when they started the Gen II LT1. Basically the coolant flows through the heads first, and then the block. GM Engineers did this so that they could run the LT1 at a higher compression from the factory and make more power than a typical Gen I SBC.
