Default radiator swap-few Q's

ok so im about to swap my stock radiator for a be cool unit. i wanted to go for the fluidyne but was told through email they are working out a few things in the design of the lt1 unit. so needing a radiator and wanting something better than stock i went for the be cool.now my Q is "do i just use green anti-freeze or is dex cool better? i havent heard good stuff about dex cool...so i am thinking "fill it with prestone mixed 50/50 with water and add a bootle of purple ice". sound like a plan? ive also heard not to use distilled water in an aluminum radiator...is this true?

If you wanna really stay cool, just do all distilled water and the purple ice or similar additive. You can add antifreeze for the winter depending on where you are. Most people run water year round down here.

I have been running mostly distilled water and redline water wetter in my BeCool for years now. I do what seawolf said and put a little dexcool style coolant in for the winter months.
