Default head replacement

how hard is this to do, i am fairly mechanical, did my pacesetters and EWP etc on my lt1 but i want to know how hard it would be to replace my heads with a ported set?

its not to bad. jus a pita when ya get to the back bolts to pull the head off. not to much room exspecially on the passanger side. drive side isnt bad at all.

I found it a big pain in the *** but it's doable.

yeah the main issue is that the motor is so far back that it's hard to work on.

Taking off some of the accessories helps.

is there anything that i need to worry about screwing up? Tips for taking it apart and putting it back together?

stay clean and organized. no real "experience" needed if you ask me. all you are doing is replacing parts. one thing i had a royal pain with was the coolant crossover in the rear. you can pull the heads with it connected but it might bend. I bent mine and ended up replacing it with a heater hose instead of buying a new hard line. Have fun and make sure to put a cam in there when all that **** is out.
