True duals over BOTh sides of the axle?
Can it be done? I have seen pics of one that ahs it done but they cut the upper PHB and ran it between the bars. Now I would think it would get crushed upon impact of a bump or hole in the road but thats just my two cents.
Anyone want to shed some light on this for me?

I have only seen them go up over the passenger side, because of the PHB mounting, this is what I am planning on doing. BUT I want the exhaust to exit the same way the stock exhaust exits

Performance Auto Fab, the place that did my TDs can and has done them over the axles on both sides...They are a sponsor now>>>>>>>
He's got tons of photos at the shop which he's trying to get on his website of the different types of TDs he does...He had to heat shield and relocate some of the fuel lines/wiring back there, but the results look as the factory should have done it, AND you don't need the BMR PHB relocation kit to do it...
There's a guy on here with a red SS that has the TD over both sides done by PAF, I forget his screen name, though...

um no, i know the advantage of true duals, thats why i have them. i was wondering why he just doesnt put them both over the passenger side. it would sound the same and perform the same, is there some advantage of going one on each side?

I personally don't like the idea of running them both over the pass. side because then the flow out the rear will be uneven because one has a straight path to the tip and the other has to travel further for the exhaust to be released. I have been told it wouldn't be an issue with running the x pipe but I am iffy on it. I see alot of you guys just have it running through the PHBs so i may just go that route. I am ordering brand new PHBs anyways. Also my mufflers will not be in the back they will be inline right after the x pipe
