well cheap will make u run into problems most likley...u do not want the "cheap" out on valvetrain!
Anyways Im doing the same came swap....call patriot performance. They have a gold kit (good to .650 lift) titanium retainers etc. for 255usd. they are not listed on there site but the LS1 ones are. I emailed them 2 days ago and they said to call the order in.
Good luck!

Like he said... call Gunnar at Patriot, they DO have an LT1 setup, includes .650 lift dual springs with good pressures for hydraulic, seats, locks, and titanium retainers.
IMHO, a WAY better deal than 918s.
Note... if you have SA roller rockers, you will have to have valves with slightly longer tips (.300) and slightly shorter pushrods for sufficient tip clearance. .250 tip valves will have issues with the guides for the SA rollers. NSA rollers do not have this issue. You might tink -.050 locks would solve the issue, but it'll result in giving up .050 lift, and excessive spring pressures unless you want to machine the seats by .050 to compensate. (IE heads would have to come off)
Been there done that. FWIW, the Manley Pro Flo valves are .250 tip.

all i have to say is don't get the CC 26918's cause they break... from my personal experiance...i think the springs that comp cam replaced for the broken one was the CC 26989
or if u do buy the 26918 call Comp Cams and tell them the batch number on the box...they'll let u know if it was a bad batch or not...
